AgDirect provides financing for a wide range of agricultural equipment, but there are certain types of equipment and purchases that do not qualify for financing. These include equipment with a total cost under $5,000 (before any down payment), as well as items intended for consumer use rather than agricultural purposes.
Some examples of ineligible equipment include sawmill machinery, grain bins and dryers, buildings (including structures not used for farming or agricultural purposes), hoop or pole barns, and stationary manure tankers. Additionally, financing is not available for robotic milking equipment, cranberry freezers, or vehicles such as pickups, SUVs, cars, ATVs, and UTVs.
Other items that are ineligible for financing through AgDirect include airplanes, portable corrals, horse trailers with living quarters, riding lawn mowers, push snow blowers, drip tape irrigation systems, and drones.
If you’re unsure whether your equipment qualifies, we recommend contacting AgDirect directly to discuss your specific situation.
